Look for Springtrap. Finding Springtrap, who is typically in cam 10, should be done as soon as a night begins. Aim your camera at him backrooms game . He might blur the image so that he can move around. Look through the pictures to find him if he does this. If something goes wrong, only shut the camera.
Use the audio. Use the audio button, which is on the camera layout's bottom left, directly above the toggle for the vent camera, to entice Springtrap to a neighboring camera. Remember that you can't use it in the vents; rather, double-click on the vent to seal it if you spot him inside.
Unless absolutely necessary, avoid looking to the left. Absent an error or the observation of Springtrap running past the glass, there is no need to look to the left. If it's getting close to dawn and he's nearby your room (not in a camera, but outside your office), you can continue staring at him until six in the morning in the hopes that there isn't a ventilation problem. When the night is already nearly over, it is better to do this.
The vents should always be under observation. If you hear sounds coming from a vent that resembles the one in FNAF 2, click "Toggle Map" and look through all of the vent cameras. If he is in a vent, double click to seal it, requiring him to go somewhere else. Sealing a vent that he isn't in really doesn't assist at all, therefore there is no use in doing so.
