Within the Jagex ecosystem, we're used to the disappointment, the extensive flaws, the shelved jobs, the broken promises, the non-stop MTX promos, and the weird shit. But they will never survive the Steam stage if (errrr,"when") people catch on to OSRS gold this tomfoolery. And new game material suffers for this. And new/different MTX promos just keep appearing.
My recommendation is to criticise effectively. Give it a downvote should you believe that way. The best reviews are those which professionally deal with issue. They're the most effective because people can comprehend the issue. OSRS is da best ye ye Souljaboy 2020".
The material seems slow and lazy for the most part. It's got a big showy exterior but a hollow grind-fest interior. They're not even fun grinds, I hated every minute of it and am back in an RS3 hiatus after finishing.
Grind fests make rs, both rs3 and os. However, in 4 years the upgrades have given nothing of note that isn't a classic shitty mill; there is something fundamentally wrong with the match's priorities. I can't blame the group too much as they are in the weird position of needing to develop the complex game but also make it incredibly mtx friendly at the same time to get a smaller foundation, which is the complete opposite to what osrs has.
It is stuck in a bad cycle where the old base does not wish to take care of mtx however mtx is the only thing keeping it drifting right now.
If there were always new people joining the game it likely would have a decent amount of people inside.
A safe bet is saying it is likely going to be fairly regular with higher res and resizable modes, if lucky maybe it'll have further view-range and additional zooming out. The standard zoom range is totally suffocating and restrictive. I still remember feeling like that I could never get the camera into a spot where I can see where I'm going without it dragging on the ground. It would also lock in mountain areas not able to actually move.
New players will which is what they are after though I'd be put off when I played a game with that client they should of got runelite as official client or created their own.
Runelite is Buy Runescape gold just good because it's community developed and run by a fantastic developer and decent individual. He is not eligible to work in the UK. If Jagex bought Runelite, it would mean less development and not as new features, that's the present problem with their vanilla customer.
