I think that RuneScape should include both day and night. You can make use of the Day and Night function depending on which server you log into. It will be an amazing creation!

Certain quests could be done at specific time of day... like quests that require Vampires and creatures of the night could be completable only at nighttime. Certain creatures, such as Vampires or the undead may not be available during the day. Morytania could be an uninhabited area during the day, but it is a nightlife swarm of creatures!

Even though we are less likely to feel thirsty in the desert at night carrying around 1 or 2 water skins isn't an issue. It is important to be aware that some real-life creatures, like the desert crocodiles could become sleepy at late at night. If this happens, we'll have to sneak around them, or wake them up and fight them back!
